Gessobord is made from our premium warp-resistant 2" profile FSC-Certified Hardbord that is sealed and protected with our proprietary Archiva-Seal to prevent yellowing from Support Induced Discoloration (SID). Each panel is individually coated with a professional artists’ grade acid-free acrylic gesso for a slight, even texture. Artists choose wood painting panels because the surface offers more vibrant colors, allows for precise detail and is an overall better support than canvas for their artwork.
